Welcome to Classic Skate Shop located at 776 Broadway St. in Bayonne, NJ. Once known as “The P.I.T Skate Shop”, current owner Gary took it over in 2004 and has come a long way since then. The shop is highly dedicated to the underground skate scene and is full of skateboarding attire, skateboards, trucks, wheels, berrings, etc. The minute you walk in you are engulfed in a variety of clothing and high quality apparel. Brands such as LRG, Vices of our Virtues, Crooks and Castles, 10Deep, Planet Earth, Nike SB, Diamond, Circa, Mishka, DC, Globe, Vans, Emerica and many more flood the shelves inside the shop. Ever since the shop obtained a “Quick-Strike” Nike account, Gary receives many EXCLUSIVE pairs of sneakers.     

The atmosphere inside the shop is very serene and comfortable. It makes buying their products very easy and helps the customers remember to come back the next time they need clothing or skate supplies. Being not only a customer, but a friend of Gary’s as well, I can honestly tell you that going to the store is worthwhile. Another reason Classic stands out from the rest is because it is run by people that are “Down-ToEarth” and took control of a dream that soon became a reality through due diligence. Even if you dont plan on buying anything, stop by and take a look around and see for yourself.
